Naomi Rothfield, MD
"Current Research In Scleroderma"
  
Dr. Rothfield is Professor of Medicine in the Division of Rheumatology at the University of Connecticut Health Center. She is an internationally renowned rheumatologist with special expertise in the management of Systemic Lupus Erythematosus, Scleroderma and Raynaud's Disease. Dr. Rothfield is a well known speaker and has published over 100 papers on rheumatologic diseases. Her clinical research involves the investigation of new therapies to enhance the care of patients with Scleroderma, Systemic Lupus Erythematosus and Raynaud's Disease. It is an honor to welcome Dr. Rothfield to our 2009 Connecticut Education Forum at the UConn Health Center's Medical Arts & Research Building! 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 

 
 

 
 
Santhanam Lakshminarayanan, MD
 
"Understanding, Assessing & Treating Raynaud's Phenomenon"
 
Dr. Santhananam Lakshminarayan
is an Assistant Professor of Medicine in the Division of Rheumatology at the UConn Health Center. He is also the Director of the Rheumatology Fellowship Program at the University of Connecticut School of Medicine. Dr. Lakshminarayana's
areas of expertise are systemic rheumatic disease, lyme disease and gout. He has published papers on phospholipid antibody
syndrome, Raynaud's Phenomenon, bone density and systemic lupus erythematous.The SF Tri-State Chapter is proud to welocme Dr. Lakshminarayan
