David Leader, DMD
"Scleroderma and Dentistry"

David Leader is a family dentist and an assistant clinical professor of general dentistry at the Tufts University School of Dental Medicine in Boston, MA. He is the author of more than 100 dental acticles, including several on scleroderma and dentistry. Dr. Leader has been a very popular presenter at the Scleroderma Foundation's National Conference for the last four years, and has recently re-written the Scleroderma Foundation's "Scleroderma and Dentistry" medical brochure. The brochure provides information for dentists as well as those who suffer from the affects of scleroderma. Dr. Leader became interested in scleroderma a few years=2 0ago; when he learned that many dentists do not treat patients who have scleroderma. In 2008 the Scleroderma Foundation named Dr. Leader their Doctor of the Year! It is both an honor and a pleasure to welcome Dr. David Leader to speak at our 2009 Spring Forum!
