June 2, Stepping Out To Cure Scleroderma
Walk
Seneca Park, Rochester, N.Y.
Registration: 9 a.m.; Walk begins at 10
a.m.
We hope you will join us at Seneca Park for the 4th Annual
Rochester Stepping Out To Cure Scleroderma walk. The walk
is a great opportunity to get exercise, meet new friends,
renew old acquaintances, win prizes, and walk in honor of
or in memory of loved ones afflicted with scleroderma.
More
importantly, the walk is an opportunity to raise money in
support of the Scleroderma Foundation’s three-fold mission
to provide patient support services, fund medical research
to develop a cure for scleroderma, and increase public awareness
of this devastating disease.
Sandra Morrison will receive the 18K gold scleroderma logo
pin, designed by Kaiyum Gallery, as the leading individual
money raiser of the 2006 Walk. The Team Championship trophy
will be presented to Diane Reynolds and the walkers for Wanda
team.
There will be a MEMORIAL WALL containing names, pictures,
messages, and other information about people who have passed
on. YOU ARE WELCOME TO ADD MATERIAL TO THE WALL.
If you would like more information about the walk, the Scleroderma
Foundation, or the efforts of the Rochester
Area Scleroderma Foundation Support Group, please contact
us at 585-234-0398.
Thank you in advance for supporting Greater Rochester’s
4th Annual Stepping Out To Cure Scleroderma Walk.
