Bend Article Raises Awareness

The Bend Bulletin newspaper has a full feature article, photos, and more about Ann Havelock's experience with scleroderma.

It's a great piece of awareness building that Ann created with her drive and determination to help herself and others living with the disease. She is the group leader of the recently organized Central Oregon Scleroderma Support Group that meets monthly in Bend.

Please join us in recognizing Ann's incredible efforts on behalf of everyone living with scleroderma, especially here in Oregon.

The 4th Annual "Stepping Out to Cure Scleroderma" Walk: Best Ever!2009 Oregon Walk

The 4th Annual "Stepping Out to Cure Scleroderma" benefit walk in Portland on July 11, 2009, was our best event ever. Walkers, volunteers, organizers, sponsors and more all helped to raise scleroderma awareness and fundraising in the Pacific Northwest. Thank you!

Host Dave Anderson had a great conversation with chapter member Gaye Moye Jacobs, Support Group Leader Donna Stone, and Dr. Lauren H. Kim. AM Northwest is a one-hour program that airs weekdays at 9:00am.

This month’s broadcast marks the third time in the past four years that KATU’s AM Northwest has  generously offered time on their award-winning program for discussion of scleroderma and local support efforts.
