Amie Yaussy

Amie has been diagnosed with systemic scleroderma since 1995.  She has been active in online support since diagnosis and active with the Scleroderma Foundation since its creation in 1998.  Amie has served on several national committees and has served as an administrator for SF online chats.  She was awarded "Volunteer of the Year" at the SF national conference in Los Angeles in 2004 and an Advocacy Appreciation Award at Capitol Hill Day, 2005.  She currently serves as the Columbus Scleroderma Support Group leader as well as volunteering on the Dublin "Stepping Out to Cure Scleroderma" walkathon committee.  She is a past president of the SF Ohio board of directors.

Amie is self-employed with website design and maintenance from home.  She spends several hours online each day in the scleroderma online community, and enjoys time with her friends and family.
