Ohio Scleroderma Foundation (SFOH) Conference

What a weekend! October 1-2-3!

Ohio held their first time ever Combination Weekend.

Biannual Conference and  Reynoldsburg fun walk.

Friday night began with cocktails and hors d'œuvres as participants arrived for the weekend events.

Our day was filled with a full breakfast and Buffet deli style lunch, to keep Ohio Conference 2010everyone’s energy up!

Special appreciation to our very generous sponsors (Actelion, Gilead, United Therapeutics, Warmers.com.)

Our First Speaker was Dr. Medsger, who talked about how the role heredity plays with Scleroderma patients.

Then Dr. Fasanella wowed us with his Gastro presentation. They lined up for Q&A, and he could have talked for hours.

Attorney Morgan gave us insights of properly preparing disability claims.

Dr. Chatterjee started the afternoon with his presentation on how to establish the course of medical care for the treatments of Scleroderma.

Dr. Sood's Pulmonary presentation was well received by all.

Our attendees couldn’t get enough.

Handouts from the speakers’ presentations are available for downloading in pdf format online.

Our last presenters were our very own SG Leaders, giving us their insights on how to raise awareness and host fundraisers in your community. We all walked away with renewed excitement about all the possibilities.

We finished the night off with an excellent buffet dinner and awards ceremony for our support group leaders, and our youngest Scleroderma Patient.  She stole the show.

Last but not least, Sunday we all took it to the streets! (Park actually). Our fun walk began at the Reynoldsburg Senior Center. What a great location.

Record turnout! We had over 100 attendees.

All the positive feedback from the Attendees,  the Speakers, and the walkers was proof positive that you can make a difference!

Looking forward to seeing everyone and more in 2012!
