Massrehab Seeking Applicants for Home Modificiation Loan Program

Massrehab is seeking applicants for their Home Modificiation Loan Program.

The program serves elder as well as adults and families with children who have functional limitations by financing home modifications that improve a persons ability to live independently in their homes.  (installation of ramps, lifts, widening of doorways, adding grab bars or walk-in showers, and renovations of floors to enhance mobility and safety) 

Loans are no or low-interest loans up to $30,000 for eligible homeowners.  Program guidelines per the write up states that a family of two with an income of $68,600 or less would qualify for a 0% loan.  A 0% loan also makes the applicant eligible to for repayment deferment until the property is sold or transferred.  This program also affords landlords who own buildings with fewer than 10 units to apply for a 3% loan to improve accessibility for a tenant.
