Helpful Hints
To save wear and tear on the fingers, loop cording,
shoe laces, or strips of fabric through drawer pulls
and refrigerator handles to create a large, soft pull.
Slip your forearm through the pull and open drawers
and doors with less effort.

Dentist
Looking for Volunteers
Dr.
David Leader from Malden, Mass. recently presented a workshop
at the national conference on dental issues in scleroderma.
He is addressing this issue again at the upcoming Yankee Dental
Congress in an effort to help educate other dentists about
scleroderma dental challenges and treatment options. Dr. Leader
is seeking several volunteers who have scleroderma with obvious
oral and facial involvement to help illustrate his talk. The
volunteers are not needed for the actual conference, but as
models for photographs and x-rays that Dr Leader will take
at his office. He has offered free dental exams in exchange
for the volunteers time. Please contact Dr. Leader at leaderdmd@juno.com
if you are interested.
