 Margaux is a family law attorney with the law firm of Walling, Berg & Debele, P.A. located in downtown Minneapolis. Prior to joining Walling, Berg & Debele in 2007 Ms. Soeffker clerked for two district court Judges in Hennepin County District Court, both on a rotation in criminal court.
Ms. Soeffker is an alumnus of Johns Hopkins University, graduating Phi Beta Kappa, with a Bachelor of Arts degree majoring in English in 2002. Ms. Soeffker is also an alumnus of the University of Minnesota Law School graduating as a Juris Doctor in 2005. Ms. Soeffker is active as an alumnus of Johns Hopkins, interviewing prospective students each year.
Ms. Soeffker joined the Board of Directors of the Scleroderma Foundation, Minnesota Chapter in 2009. Ms. Soeffker's other volunteer experience includes serving as a Big Sister through Big Brothers, Big Sisters MN, volunteering with the Volunteer Lawyers Network and the Children's Law Center. For 2009-2010 Ms. Soeffker is serving as a Co-Chair of the Mentor Section of Minnesota Women Lawyers, an organization in which she has participated since 2004.
In addition to her professional pursuits, Ms. Soeffker is married and just had her first child, a son, in May 2009. In her free time, Ms. Soeffker enjoys spending time with her family and friends.
