Volunteer Opportunities for Our 8th Annual
Stepping Out to Cure Scleroderma Walk
If you are interested in helping volunteer for our Stepping Out to Cure Scleroderma Walk, we have several opportunities available. Just follow the three easy steps detailed below.
Step 1: The Walk will be on Saturday, June 5, 2010. Think about what times you are available to help.
- Pre-Walk Prep: (7am – 10am)
- During the Walk: (9am. – 12pm)
- Post-Walk Clean Up: (11am – 1pm)
Step 2: Think about which volunteer roles you might be interested in.
Some volunteer roles needed:
- Set-up snack area
- Set-up registration table
- Set-up signs
- Walk Leaders (3 mile and 1 mile path)
- Walk Trailers (3 mile and 1 mile path)
- Halfway station
- Kids’ Area
- Clean up
Step 3: Send an email to MNChapter@scleroderma.org with the following information:
- Name
- Phone Number
- Email Address
- Which positions you are interested in (if you have a preference)
- Any other questions you have about volunteering
