Every journey begins with that all important first STEP.
In 2010 the Michigan Chapter held their 31st Walk and Run at the Detroit Zoo. This event was a HUGE success thanks to the dedication of all the sponsors, walkers and runners.

In 2011 the Michigan Chapter will be hosting three walks across the state.
- The first walk will be held on June 26th at the Detroit Zoo in Royal Oak, MI.
- The second walk will be held in Lansing, MI on July 23rd at Hawk Island Park in Ingham County.
- The third walk and run will be held in August at Riverside Park in Grand Rapids. The date has not yet been determined.
We want you to step out and join the Michigan Chapter in helping to raise funds to continue to support our three-fold mission: support, education and research.
We know times are challenging for everyone but if we all work together, we will surpass our fund raising goals!
Make this the year you STEP UP for scleroderma! Recruit your family, friends and co-workers and begin collecting your pledges today. Be creative in your approach. Whether you collect pop cans, host a garage sale, choose to eat out less as a family and donate that money to the walk, or simply reach out into the community and seek pledges from those around you, the results will add up quickly.
