1,100 Steps to a Cure Stair Climb To benefit the Scleroderma Foundation
Event Time—7 a.m.: registration opens. 8 AM: first climber begins.
Location— Chicago Title Building, 161 N. Clark St. Chicago, IL. 60601. Please use the Clark St. entrance.
Registration*—Individual climbers: minimum fundraising/donation due by event day: $100
(includes $35 registration fee and $65 climber
fundraising commitment). Kids 12 and under: free.
Teams: each climber on a team is responsible for their individual registration fee and fundraising minimum.
- By Mail: Mail the completed registration form with $35 fee + $65 minimum climber commitment to:

The Scleroderma Foundation, or SFGC.
- Online: Pre-Register online at www.firstgiving.com/scleroderma-chicago.
- Climb Day: Register in person beginning at 7a.m. on the morning of the climb with a completed registration form and $35 + your $65 minimum fundraising donation.
Timing—All registered steppers receive a timing chip. Bib number, timing chip and event T-shirt will be
distributed at 7 a.m. registration. Pin bib number on
the front of your clothing.
Prizes—Medals will be awarded in the following categories:
- 1st place Overall Male/Female
- 2nd place Overall Male/Female
- 3rd place Overall Male/Female
Fastest Male/Female Climbers: All participants will
be divided into the following age groups for awards:
Age 12–18, 19–29, 30–39, 40–49, 50–59, 60–69, 70+.
Parking—A reduced parking rate of $14 is available at the Government Center garage located at 181 N. Clark St. The main garage entrance located off of Lake St.,
just East of Clark St. The garage is connected to
161 N. Clark, providing easy access for the event.
Details:
- Water will be available at designated floor landings.
- Bathrooms will be available at designated floor landings.
- Gear check will be available at registration.
- Sponsor a floor for $200! Company name and/or logo posted on floor sign!
- Post event refreshments, T-shirts, and fun!
- Event results will be posted by 6 p.m. climb day at www.chicagoaa.com.
- Fee and donation details: The $35 registration fee is due at the
time of registration and is non-refundable. Climbers have until event
day to meet the balance of their minimum fundraising requirement
(minimum of $65). Climbers who have not met their fundraising
requirement on event day will need to pay the outstanding amount in order to participate in the climb. Pledges made to the Scleroderma
Foundation on behalf of climbers who cancel or do not participate
in the climb are non-refundable.
