Northwestern Patient Education Day, 2009!
We wish to thank Northwestern Memorial hospital and Dr. John Varga for hosting the 2nd annual Patient Education day, Sept. 26, 2009.
Over 100 people attended and were able to hear several wonderful speakers. We want to thank Drs. Carly Skarma, and Monique Hinchcliff for their presentations. We also wish to thank, Judy Fulop, M.S. N.D. for her presentation on Alternative treatments and Maureen Libby and Marty Hogan for their presentation on Dental Issues with scleroderma. We also want to thank our area Support Group Leaders, Janine Capon, Debbie Deaton, Pauline Gearry, Natali Nemeth and Lisa Somers for conducting a session which was a great experience for all. Also, thank you to volunteers, Kathy Siemanowski, and Nancy Baldwin for managing registration!
