What is Advocacy?

Advocacy is the act of educating others about an issue, supporting/defending a cause and recommending an action.

During an election cycle, all eyes turn to national, state, and local politics. The Scleroderma Foundation however, is advocating on your behalf throughout the year whether there is an election or not. Luckily many of the “friends” of the Scleroderma Foundation have been re-elected to Congress. New faces also bring new possibilities.

In the next few months, we will be working to strengthen our existing congressional relationships and cultivate new ones. This is an exciting time—and you can be part of it!
