SUPPORT SCLERODERMA AWARENESS MONTH RESOLUTION IN THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES!
Congressman John Tierney (D-MA) is planning to introduce a resolution in the House of Representatives expressing support for the designation of June 2008 as “National Scleroderma Awareness Month.” Before introducing the resolution, Congressman Tierney would like to secure as many “original co-sponsors” as possible to build support for the legislation.
All SF advocates are urged to contact their Representative and ask them to become an “original co-sponsor” of this resolution.

Talking Points for calling your Representative’s Office:
- Ask to speak with the staff member who handles health care issues.
- Explain that Congressman John Tierney from Massachusetts is collecting original co-sponsors for a resolution calling for a National Scleroderma Awareness Month.
- Ask them to contact Rep. Tierney’s office and become an original co-sponsor of the resolution prior to its introduction.
- Thank them for their time and ask them to advise you of the action they took in response to your request (leave your contact information).
