Laura Dyas

Laura Dyas came to the Michigan Chapter of the Scleroderma Foundation after leading two nonprofits for 18 years. She possesses a Bachelors degree in Social Work and Sociology with a minor in Psychology as well as a Master’s degree in Guidance and Counseling. In 2006 she obtained a certificate in Nonprofit Management and Leadership from Michigan State University and the Nonprofit Society of Michigan. She is currently a licensed social worker in the state of Michigan.
Laura’s previous position as the Executive Director of the Lennon Center in Dearborn Heights prepared her well for the challenges she welcomes at the Michigan Chapter of the Scleroderma Foundation. At the Lennon Center she worked for 13 years creating programs, fund raising and cultivating donors. Her passion makes her a very client driven Executive Director and her desire is to take the Michigan Chapter of the Scleroderma Foundation to the next level, raising more revenue for research and patient education.
